Pattern shop

Model devices and cores needed during the production of aluminium castings, where sand casting technology is used, are constructed and produced directly in our own pattern-shop. Wood, epoxy or polyurethane resins are basic inputs.

Until 2023 model devices (single, split or on boards) and cores were produced only manually.

Since 2023 the pattern-shop production capacity has been increased by purchasing wood-modelling 3-axis CNC milling machine. Construction of model devices and CNC programming is performed exclusively by our company in SolidWorks/SolidCam software. Thanks to the new technology we are able to design and produce complicated model devices in shorter time.

For production of prototypes, small series spare parts or just one casting we are offering a possibility to produce a fusible polystyrene model.

Maximum possible dimensions of parts for CNC are 2000x1300x500.

We are also offering production of specific parts from wood and resin. This offer can address mainly carpenters working with massif.

In 2024 we decided to embark the way of reverse engineering by obtaining a 3D scanner. For small parts up to dimensions 250x250x250(mm) it has an accuracy of 0,1mm. The output from the scanner is full-value 3D data which can be used for production. We can provide the output data in STL or STEP formats. Based on agreement the data can be modified for production. This procedure is suitable for production of spare parts where client has only the original casting.

The pattern-shop capacities are sufficient not only for our own needs but also for potential clients interested in these products.

We are offering cooperation in casting as well as in production of model devices.
